Written by Suzy Lyons, who swapped city life for the chance to continue the story of Roseville, a much-loved property in Guyra that her father spent 15 years restoring. Hoping for a lifestyle change and a stronger sense of community, she traded traffic lights for frosts, mud, endless weather conversations and an unexpectedly large jumper collection.

Between restoring an 1890s farmhouse, renovating Roseville and attempting to tame a very enthusiastic garden, she is usually making coffee, checking the forecast or wondering how life out here manages to be both wonderfully slow and incredibly busy.
