Written by Suzy Lyons, who swapped city life for the chance to continue the story of Roseville, a much-loved property in Guyra that her father spent 15 years restoring. Hoping for a lifestyle change and a stronger sense of community, she traded traffic lights for frosts, mud, endless weather conversations and an unexpectedly large jumper collection.

Between restoring an 1890s farmhouse “Roseville” and attempting to tame a very enthusiastic garden, she is usually making coffee, checking the forecast or wondering how life out here manages to be both wonderfully slow and incredibly busy.
